  • Paula Almond

    Paula M. Almond, M.S.

    Director of Student Disability Services

    Paula has served in various capacities within the University System of Georgia since 1992. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychological Services from Georgia State University with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling.

     
    Megan Mckean

    Megan Crosson, M.Ed.

    Assistive Technology Specialist

    Megan joined the SDS team in November 2021 and serves as the Assistive Technology Specialist. She enjoys getting to know students registered with SDS through evaluating their needs related to assistive and adaptive technology needed to access course materials. 
    Megan's professional background includes a B.A. in Recreation Therapy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She has close to a decade of experience supporting adults with disabilities in pursuits of recreation, employment, and now education. Megan also received her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Cognition and Development from the University of Georgia.

    In time outside of work, Megan enjoys gardening, cooking, and exploring trails around Atlanta with her very energetic dog. 

    Katie Fahn, MS, CRC, NCC

    Assistant Director

    Katie Fahn serves as the Assistant Director of Student Disability Services at the Marietta Campus. She is an alumna of Kennesaw State University where she received a Bachelor of Architecture in 2009. Identifying her passion for serving STEAM students with disabilities she attended Georgia State University and received her Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling. She has been affiliated with KSU's Marietta Campus community since 2003.

    When she's not working, Katie enjoys spending time listening to audiobooks, crocheting and traveling with family and friends.

    Katie Fahn
    Krystalle Jacob

    Krystalle Jacob, M.S.Ed.

    Testing Coordinator

    Krystalle is responsible for proctoring exams and providing testing accommodations for students registered with Student Disability Services. Krystalle graduated from Georgia State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Educational Psychology. After a practicum with the Education Sciences Research Lab at the Marcus Autism Center, Krystalle went back to school at Indiana University Bloomington for an M.S. Ed in Learning and Developmental Sciences, Educational Psychology, and graduated in Fall 2020.

    When she is not at work, Krystalle loves to read, listen to music, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.

    Sam Krausman

    Administrative Assistant

    Sam joined the SDS team in October 2024 and serves as the Administrative Assistant on the Kennesaw campus. Sam is an alumnus of Kennesaw State University, earning his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2021.  

    When he is not working, Sam enjoys reading, listening to music, going to concerts, and making art.

    Bonna Lenyszyn

    Bonna Lenyszyn, CI & CT

    Deaf and Hard of Hearing Manager

    Bonna Lenyszyn is a nationally certified Sign Language Interpreter and has been a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services professional since 2002. Bonna graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2000, received a 4.0 in the Gallaudet ASL summer program in 2000, and completed the Sign Language Interpreting Program at Georgia Perimeter College (now GSU) in 2002.

    Throughout her years serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, Bonna has interpreted in K-12, was staff interpreter at Georgia Council for the Hearing Impaired (now GCDHH), and served as director of Camp Juliena for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth and teens for 11 summers. Bonna joined Kennesaw State University in 2018 after serving 11 years in the Office of Disability Services at Georgia State University. She is passionate in her support of equal access both in the academic arena and in the broader community.

    When she's not working, Bonna enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Her family enjoys being on the water and spending time together outdoors.

    Jena Mozley, Ed.S.

    Academic Coaching Manager

    Jena joined the Student Disability Services team in October 2021 and serves as the Academic Coaching Manager. She is passionate about empowering students to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential. Jena is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, personally, and professionally.
    She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a Master of Education in Counseling from Ohio University, as well as an Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of Georgia. With nearly 20 years of experience as a professional school counselor, academic advisor, and student support services expert, Jena brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role.
    In her free time, Jena enjoys attending concerts, exploring new restaurants, crafting, and traveling.

    Jena Mozley
    Nastassia Sanabria

    Nastassia Sanabria, M.Ed., NCC

    Assistant Director

    Nastassia serves as the Assistant Director of Student Disability Services at the Kennesaw campus. She joined Kennesaw State University in 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Georgia, and a Master of Education degree in Professional Counseling from University of West Georgia. Nastassia has a professional background in vocational rehabilitation counseling as well as in career counseling.

    When she's not working, Nastassia enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, and watching sci-fi and horror movies.

    Danielle Settineri

    Accommodated Testing Services Manager

    Danielle joined SDS on the Marietta Campus on October of 2014, and then transitioned to the Kennesaw Campus in July 2015. She is responsible for managing testing services for students who are registered with Student Disability Services. Danielle graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University, now Kennesaw State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Business.

    Melanie Wall

    Office Manager

    Melanie is the Office Manager for Students Disability Services. She is also an alumna of Kennesaw State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She even student taught in Costa Rica for four months before graduating. Melanie taught first and second grade for eight years before transitioning to Kennesaw State University.

    In her spare time, she loves to cross stitch, watch movies and TV shows, and most importantly, be with her two children and husband.

    Stephanie Wilson

    DHH Services Specialist 

    Stephanie is an American Sign Language-English interpreter with a heart for the Deaf community. Stephanie鈥檚 love for learning, especially in higher education, has led her to receive two bachelor鈥檚 degrees, the first in Criminal Justice with a minor in English from Georgia Gwinnett College, and the second in ITP Studies in ASL-English from William Woods University. While pursuing her interpreting degree, Stephanie did her field practicum at Kennesaw State University.

    Stephanie has been dedicated to learning American Sign Language and more about the Deaf community since she began her journey in 2011, taking advantage of various opportunities to learn, network, and grow her skills, such as taking American Sign Language classes through the University of Georgia as well as completing programs with Purple Communications. Stephanie worked as a Video Relay Service interpreter for Purple Communications for two years before joining the Student Disability Services team at Kennesaw State University as the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Specialist in 2024.

    When she is not working, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband. Together, they enjoy watching shows, going to conventions, and, above all, going to Universal Studios in Orlando.
