CYAAR Naloxone Training

The Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery will host training sessions throughout the semester to teach students how to administer naloxone, a medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.

Each person who attends & completes training is provided a free Naloxone kit. 

  • At the end of this training the participants will be able to:
  • Identify potential warning signs of an overdose
  • Operate and administer Naloxone in the event of an overdose
  • Identify how Naloxone works
  • Understand the Georgia Medical Amnesty Law

Training is free for KSU students, faculty, and staff. Each person who attends and completes training is provided a free Naloxone kit. Sign up is required.
