Notice of the Filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification
The following notices are posted as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for these job opportunities. These postings will remain in public view for a period of at least 10 consecutive business days and must be made no more than 180 and no less than 30 days prior to filing the permanent labor certification application.
Assistant Professor of Computer Science (multiple positions)
Responsibilities: Teaching computer science courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Service to Department, College, University and/or professional community is expected. Scholarship/Research expectations include pursuing and receiving external grants, creating journal articles and peer reviewed papers, advising undergraduate and/or graduate student research, etc. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications: An earned Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related discipline, is required.

Lecturer of Software Engineering
Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities for the position include teaching and service work [in the area of Software Engineering] with an emphasis on enhancing the teaching mission of the department. The appointment is for nine months and includes the possibility of teaching in summer. The teaching duties will primarily include teaching three first-year courses per semester with approximately 120 students per course. Courses are taught on both the Marietta campus and Kennesaw Campus of Kennesaw State University and are offered during daytime and evening hours. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Other responsibilities include: Participating in course and program development activities; Working collegially with colleagues; Student teaching/clinical supervision; Advising. Position requires an earned Master's degree, or a foreign equivalent, in Computing or a closely related field.

Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security
Responsibilities: Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in Information Systems, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, and FinTech (e.g., application development, systems analysis & design, IS infrastructure, business analytics, healthcare informatics, electronic health records, digital payments, etc.). Research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications: A doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Security and Assurance, Business/Health Analytics, or Management Science, or a related discipline, is required.

Lecturer of Data Science and Analytics
Responsibilities: A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the area of Statistics, Data Science, and Analytics. Service to School, College, University, and/or professional community is expected. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications: a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics or a closely related discipline, or a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
