Career and Academic Opportunities

Intelligent robotics are used in a wide range of industries, and the need for trained professionals is continuing to grow with demand estimated to increase by as much as 13% in the next five years. The Mathematics BS gives students formal training in problem solving, critical and quantitative thinking, and logical argument. The Masters in Intelligent Robotic Systems offers a modern curriculum in industry leading content including control of autonomous robotic arms, simulations, the Robot Operating System (ROS), machine learning, and computer vision. Graduates of this interdisciplinary program will be prepared to work in the design and implementation of autonomous AI, biomechanical applications, and automation in industries including manufacturing, healthcare, defense and security, automotive, and construction.

Admission Requirements

  • KSU GPA of at least 3.20
  • 60 hours completed towards a bachelor鈥檚 degree
  • 12 hours completed in residence at KSU
