This study explores the use of Splunk and RTLS technology to optimize operational decision making in Emergency Departments. Medicare Claims: An Analysis of the Major Chronic Diseases and the Effect on Total
Medicare Reimbursement
This study analyzes Medicare data from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) database to draw conclusions on the relationship between Medicare reimbursement for chronic disease treatments and the sociodemographic characteristics of beneficiaries receiving the treatment. Researchers also focused on the location of the providers and if there was any association with the amount paid out by Medicare after accounting for other factors such as race, age, and gender.

E Mentoring for Nursing Retention and Leadership
Mentoring of employees in the healthcare setting has become crucial for employee retention and satisfaction. This paper uses an integrative review method to demonstrate the effectiveness of virtual mentoring on healthcare employee retention, while proposing a more technological approach to lessen the burden on the system and support new staff members. Virtual Nursing has shown to provide support for current and future nurses and fills in the gap with clinical experience that isn’t provided in nursing programs.

Diabetic Retinopathy Autonomous Screening via AI
The importance of diagnosing Diabetic Retinopathy is explored through this study proposing a novel automatic diabetic retinopathy model based on a convolutional neural network. Results of this study show the proposed model exhibiting effectiveness in detecting diabetic retinopathy, with an accuracy of 90.03%.
