Pianist Robert Koenig Leads an Evening of Classical Music at Kennesaw State University

Bailey School of Music faculty musicians will join sought-after Canadian performer on stage

Kennesaw State University鈥檚 Bailey School of Music (BSOM) is pleased to announce an extraordinary evening of classical music featuring celebrated Canadian pianist , who is known for his collaborations with leading classical artists. BSOM faculty artists Julia Bullard, Helen Hwaya Kim, Charae Krueger, and Kenn Wagner will join Koenig on stage. This exciting group of musicians will perform on Monday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Morgan Hall at the Dr. Bobbie Bailey and Family Performance Center on the Kennesaw campus.

A collaborative pianist and chamber musician, Koenig is a sought-after performing artist who has performed throughout the world to great acclaim. His performances have graced some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center, to name only a few. 

Classical Masterpieces 
Koenig鈥檚 concert at KSU will feature both solo piano works and collaborations with BSOM faculty musicians. The program includes masterful selections from Franz Schubert, Sergie Rachmaninoff, Frederic Chopin, George Gershwin, and Robert Schumann.  

Educational Impact
As a professor and head of collaborative piano at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Koenig will provide a unique educational opportunity for students. His expertise and experience in collaborative piano and chamber music will offer invaluable insights and learning experiences for aspiring musicians.
